Ironbloom

An economy that forges an army. Raise a war economy, wall your ramp, and raze three rival AI lords off the map — a BroodWar-style conquest RTS where every race runs its economy differently.

Three races that actually play differently:

• Ironborn — industrial builders: miners feed visible belt lines, walls and gates seal the ramp, and tanks crack whatever hides behind the enemy's.
• Wildkin — the living swarm: buildings grow on creep, units hatch from eggs, and numbers make up for what each body lacks. No walls — the swarm IS the wall.
• Stormforged — crystal warpers: structures warp in, elite units blink across the field, few and expensive but each one a weapon.

Features

• Elevation warfare: cliff-walled mains, ramp chokes, high ground blocks shots from below
• Rival AI lords that expand, tier up, and pick a different personality every game
• Full RTS control scheme: box select, control groups, attack-move, shift-queued waypoints, rally points, idle-worker cycling
• A living map: day/night, wind over the grass, wildlife, drifting shorelines
• Save/load (Ctrl+S / Ctrl+O), in-game help (F1); launches fullscreen (F11 toggles)

⚠ Beta

This is a beta — expect rough edges and frequent updates (the itch app auto-updates; it's the best way to play). If it crashes, a report is written to ironbloom_crash.txt in your home folder — please attach it to a comment along with what you were doing.

macOS note: if you download from the browser instead of the itch app, macOS will complain the app "can't be opened". Either use the itch app, or right-click → Open, or run xattr -dr com.apple.quarantine on the extracted folder.
